What Makes Us Different?

Where We Work Matters

We don’t just build projects, we build where we live. From schools to civic spaces, our work is woven into the communities that trust us to get it right.

Safety isn’t just a policy at Pharr, it’s a culture. Every crew member is trained to treat the site like it’s their own backyard — because more often than not, it is. City leaders, school boards, and owners across the region call us when it matters. We show up ready, and we finish strong.

What Makes Us Different?

Safety in All We Do

At Pharr & Company, safety isn’t a protocol—it’s a principle. From pre-construction to project closeout, we hold the line on safe practices to protect every team member, subcontractor, and client on-site. It’s a company-wide commitment driven by care for our people and pride in our work. We don’t just talk safety. We live it.

Integrity

Always choosing to do the right thing, respecting others, and building honest and trusting relationships is just our way of life. We know how important it is to keep our promises, be accountable, and to model loyalty, commitment, and most importantly, grit.

Built on Legacy, Driven by Vision

Founded in 1976 by brothers Johnny and Jimmy Pharr, our company was built on deep roots in hands-on construction and a clear commitment to doing things the right way. Over the decades, we’ve earned trust across Texas and New Mexico by delivering projects that last.

In 2025, leadership passed to Jason Pharr, continuing the family legacy with a focus on modern methods, innovation, and sustainability without losing sight of the principles we were built on.

Leadership

The faces you see here? They’re often your first point of contact. These are the folks who’ll walk the site with you, sit across the table, and make the hard calls when it counts. But every person who wears the Pharr name has earned our trust—and will work hard to earn yours, too.
